Teamspaces

Multiple users from any location can collaborate on projects knowing that they will always have the latest file versions to hand. Teamspaces are like a file share on a file server – only Teamspace users needn't be in the same hemisphere never mind the same office.

  • The Teamspace consists of shared folders and files created for multiple users to access. These folders are not owned by any user and unlike shared folders within a file tree - they are accessible via web browser and virtual PC hard drive to any user in the enterprise with permission.
  • Search functionality allows drilldown by any parameter.
  • Team members can even work on shared files when not connected to the Internet using the PC synchronisation client.

Contact Lists

Contact lists make all colleagues visible when collaborating or sending files to build team identity and streamline communication.

  • Contacts are fully searchable with columns to sort by name, job title, organisation, department, landline, mobile, email, items, last file change and space usage (permissions-dependent).
  • Any contacts outside your organization which users have established a file sharing relationship with – e.g. suppliers, freelancers and customers are included.
  • The latest files each person has shared with you are immediately accessible for you to view or edit.

Messaging

WorkSpace Messaging keeps all users fully informed as quickly and directly as possible.

  • Streamlined messaging alerts team members to new developments and changes to project documents.
  • Simply click through from the message to the files in question and you can review and make changes to the files directly online.
  • Send files of unlimited size to external parties and they will get a link to a web interface in your company branding where they can review the documents. For your security, we verify their e-mail address before they are granted access and unlike e-mail, you can revoke access at any time.

PC Client

Access WorkSpace as a virtual drive on your local machine; make backups of your files and keep team members synchronised with the latest file developments.

You and your colleagues benefit from offline access to files, and faster opening of large files - as they are cached locally – and as the backup of PC files is automatic, you do not have to manually upload them to the web interface.

  • Any changes you make to the files on your PC are replicated to your storage space and vice versa - ensuring that your data is always protected
  • Offline changes will automatically be replicated to your WorkSpace the next time you connect so the latest versions of all files now follow you and your team around when you're on the road or in the air – even when you're not online
  • Simply install the PC Client on every machine you use and the files on each computer will be synchronised wherever you are
